Last weekend I had the chance to do a mini photo shoot for two of my close friends. The groom requested a location with a bridge over a large body of water. After researching a few potential places online, the engaged pair agreed on Humber Bay Arch Bridge in Etobicoke. The modern architecture of the bridge was something he, as a mechanical engineer, resonated with; the beautiful scenery of Lake Ontario reflected her love for nature.
*A bonus that this location offered a perfect view of the Toronto skyline
It was my first time shooting for a Save-the-Date/engagement and their first time “modeling”. Needless to say, we were all stiff and felt uneasy near the beginning. But with time, we discovered which angles, lighting and style worked better. Kudos to this couple for being enthusiastic and creative with their poses! Our best shots were the ones where E & R were just being themselves, laughing at each other and being silly.
Here are some of my favourites from that morning 🙂 ..
